On the first day of the camp, each group had to design a chair by using a cardboard and an extremely hard plastic board. The requirements of the chair are first, the chair won't be broken when a person sit on it, second, it must be creative and has a nice appearance. The following is our steps to build our chair:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.Cut an octagon with a diameter of 40cm out from the hard plastic board.

2.Cut an octagon with a diameter of 30cm out from the remaining part of the plastic board.

3.Cut 2 pieces of trapezium-shape cardboard and combine them with the gaps in the middle of the trapeziums.

4.Cut 4  pieces of trapezium-shape cardboard.

5.Put the "米”shape of the combined cardboard on to the top of the 40cm-diameter plastic board and cover it with the 30cm-diameter plastic board.

6.Add a few of nylon ropes on the surface of the thing as decoration. 

 AND EVENTUALLY, WE DID IT !!!

In the presentation, we call our "master piece" Cavaliers. Since the one who sits on our chair, would fall like a hero. Fortunately, Jason didn't fall like a hero. Unfortunately, the chair became the leaning tower of Pisa.
