Optical Fiber was discovered by Charles Kao, and Optical Fiber has greatly lessened the problems that where found in the communication wire of the day: copper. Fiber Optics uses light to communicate, and as light is the fastest known propertyin the known universe, and as a great discovery. Optical Fiber uses total internal reflection to reflect light, and the awesome thing about it is that Optical Fiber allows light to travel in an equal wave. This results in very little energy loss, allowing much more better communcation. and resulting in a mass production is the object. As all should know, light will travel in a straight line, until it disappears through a mass of energy loss.
