Introduction

          We are lucky we are in LEGO NXT group 6 and have a good leader. In our group we have XTra, Dickson, Leo, Vincent, Alvis and Adrian.We are very happy that our parents gave us a chance to join this camp.

 

 

 

LEGO NXT

   After we joined the LEGO NXT, we learned a lot. These are some of the things we learned:

   1. We learned how to program a robot

   2. We learned how to build a LEGO NXT Robot

   3. We learned about the different parts of the NXT robot(e.g.Light sensor, Touch sensor, Ultrasonic sensor, NXT brick, Servo-motor ...)

   The NXT brick is the "brain" of the robot.It can process the messages of the sensors and tell the servo-motors to do things.

   The servo-motors are the "muscles" of the robot.They do things the NXT brick tells them to do.

    The sensors are the "eyes and ears" of the robot.They sense things and send messages to the robot.

 

 

 

Our Robot

This is our robot. It is called KILLER. It has two sharp claws, a Sound sensor on top, an Ultrasonic sensor as its head, three wheels and a bumper.The grabers can grab balls and the ultrasonic sensor can change the highness of tone emitted by the robot. And when the bumper is hit by something, it will stop attacking its enemies.

 

 

 

The competition

   We had a competition yesterday.Our robot fought another group's robot and drew with them.We tried all the sensors and they all passed the test. We got the third at last.
